Zombie Run!

What a great
way to spend a Saturday evening! The
smell of fall was in the air, and colorful leaves were crunching under our
tennis shoes. We were given two flags
(think flag football) and the object was to not let the zombies get your flags.
If they did get your flags, you were “dead”. There was no shortage of Zombies trying to get
our flags. Also, add to the mix that many of the zombies were students and we
are teachers. Yikes! Sarah...er, um I mean Pirate Girl was able to
hold on to both of her flags for most of the race. In the end, the zombies wonL Pirate Girl came up with a great strategy to use
against the flag, grabbing zombies next year. It is top secret but I will say this-the
zombies won’t stand a chance!! We had a lot of fun participating in the First
Annual Zombie 5k Run! Thanks Carole and Sarah!
Our next running adventure will be in a couple of weeks. We will be
doing the Turkey Trot!
